I woke up to a calm morning on a small island in the middle of the lake. Reflected in the water in front of me was the gate to Sarek with the mountains Nammatj, Skierffe and Tjahkelij.
After making this photograph I put the camera down and I took the time to really soak it all in. The big sky, the mountains, the forest and the lake fed with water from the glaciers in Sarek.
I had two weeks of photography in front of me. I was excited to begin my adventure.
