After a couple of days of cold weather I came across this small island in Pärlälvens Nature Reserve. It was coated with a dense layer of frost created by the cold and moist air rising from the lake.
A light snowfall created some beautiful light and helped to separate the island from the background.
It was a mediative experience to stand there and watch the scene through the viewfinder.
