I’m back home after two weeks of field work in Sarek National Park. With temperatures as low as -40 C I was really feeling the cold of midwinter. In such conditions everything takes more time and it becomes challenging to do photography. On several occasions I had to scrape ice from the front of my lens to be able to make an exposure.
With the cold however comes beautiful light. On one morning the mountains in front of me were glowing in the mesmerizing light of January just as the full moon was setting behind them. The photograph, that I will keep a secret for now, will be included in the Print Portfolio.
I’m a little bit more than halfway through the field work with the project now. If you want to help me out and support the project going forward feel free to do so in any of the following ways:
You can find out more about the Limited Edition Print Portfolio in this blog post. I’m very pleased with the five photographs that I’ve completed so far. As I’m writing this I look at the test prints on the table behind me. They do look great.
At the moment I’m drying out gear, preparing food and charging batteries for the next adventure. The work with Moments in The Wilderness continues.
Thanks for all the wonderful support so far – you make this project possible!
