Icelandic Landscape, July 2011
During my first two weeks in Iceland I trekked around in the Fjallabak area. Due to restrictions one is only allowed to pith a tent in designated campsites. A restriction I have full respect for, although as a keen hiker in the Swedish mountains I find it rather limiting.
I made this photograph off the trail in the southern parts of Fjallabak. I stood there in awe all by myself for about two hours watching the light change over the landscape. Probably one of the most beautiful views I have witnessed to date. It somewhat summarize Iceland for me.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SHOT!!!
It’s cold and warm at the same time.
This one is as great as the “Lofoten” one (you know which one I mean).
this is one of my favourites from you!
you’ve gotta print this very large.
congratulations!

Thanks Jörgen, Niccolò And Thorstein for your kind comments.
All the best,

Magisk vy, men inte minst ett enastående utsnitt ur detta bergsmassiv.
Bara att buga sig för ditt kunnande och öga!!
